Nintendo Unveils Switch Exclusive Super Monkey Ball Game

Nintendo revealed a new Switch exclusive game is arriving on June 25 called Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble.

The Nintendo exclusive would be the first new entry since the launch of Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania in 2021.

Nintendo Announces New Super Monkey Ball Game 

During the Direct Partner Showcase, the company announced that it is dropping a new Super Monkey Ball Banana game after almost three years. Previously, fans have been speculating about the new game. 

Moreover, some rumors hinted that the new game could be a Switch 2 exclusive. Nintendo then clarified the news during the event. The Switch 2 launch has been reportedly delayed until early 2025. 

The Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble promises a wide variety of challenges wherein players are required to enhance their skills per stage. The trailer also revealed that the game will feature a new movement mechanic, Spin Dash, which will allow users to skip past their enemies or create shortcuts. 

What to Expect on Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble? 

Fans of the franchise are about to experience intense gameplay. The game will offer an online mode wherein it can handle up to 16 players to compete against each other. 

For co-op mode and story mode, four players can play together. The game also supports an offline split-screen which can be used by up to four users. 

On the other hand, the story mode, which can be played with three more friends, will require players to find seven artifacts across the 200 new stages. 

Players are also encouraged to customize their monkey's outfit and ball color, depending on their preferences. The Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is now available to pre-order for $50 on the Nintendo online store.
