'All of Us Strangers' Starring Paul Mescal, Andrew Scott Streams on Hulu

"All of Us Strangers" is now available to stream on Hulu after its successful theatrical release last December 2023. 

The film is based on the 1987 novel "Strangers" by Taichi Yamada. It also featured actors Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal.

'All of Us Strangers' on Hulu 

"All of Us Strangers" follows the story of Adam, played by Scott, as he tries to connect with Harry, played by Mescal. Moreover, the story also highlights Adam's journey as he tries to cope with the idea that he lost his parents at an early age. 

The film was first previewed at the 50th Telluride Film Festival last August but had a short theatrical release during the December holiday season. 

Andrew Haigh was praised for his narrative of blending profound grief and love through a different lens. It is also named one of the top ten independent films of 2023 by the National Board of Review and has earned six BAFTA nominations. 

'All of Us Strangers' Casts Familiar Actors 

Prior to the film, Mescal had been paving his own way in acting as he gained positive feedback for his portrayal of Calum in "Aftersun." The actor will also play important roles in "Gladiator 2," where he will be joined by Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal. 

Meanwhile, Scott is known for his role as James Moriarty in the "Sherlock" television series. His upcoming role is in a film entitled "Ripley." 

Meanwhile, writer and director Haigh worked on the film after concluding "Lean of Pete." The filmmaker shared that he drew inspiration from Yamada's book and tried to bring the same experience from the page to the big screen. 

"All of Us Strangers" joins Hulu's vast catalog of critically acclaimed shows and films such as "The Handmaid's Tale" and "The Bear."
