The 45mm Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 are reportedly in the works, according to 9to5Google.

Last month, the site dropped hints that Google was working on two Pixel Watch 3 sizes after several customers complained about the device's small size.

Google to Offer Two Sizes as Variant for Pixel Watch 3

The current Pixel Watch size is 41mm, and many users find it too small for their liking when compared to other smartwatch brands. To eliminate the risk of losing potential customers, Google is reportedly addressing the issue.

According to the people familiar with the situation, a 45mm Pixel Watch 3 is already in the works. The new size could match the other brands like the Apple Watch Series 9. Samsung also offers the Galaxy Watch 6 lineup in various sizes, from 40mm to 47mm.

There is no news yet if Google will retain the 41mm size for the other variant. However, 9to5Google stated that there's a possibility of UI changes between the two sizes.

Google Preps for Pixel Bud Pro Upgrade

Aside from the watch, Google is reportedly working on new Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones. It has been almost two years since the company launched its first "Pro" earbuds, and the upgrade has been in development for quite some time already.

Last year, Google revamped the Pixel Buds Pro and equipped it with spatial audio with head tracking. It was then followed by a firmware upgrade that brought two new color variants in Bay and Porcelain.

It also debuted with new features, including conversation detection, hearing wellness, Bluetooth super wideband and clear calling. There is also a reduced gaming latency when paired with the Pixel 8 phones.

Considering the latest news update, some Pixel Buds enthusiasts hope to see AI-powered features for the next-generation Google headphones.
