LEGO, 'Star Wars' Present New Animated Series on Disney+

Lucasfilm announced that the upcoming animated series will come in four parts. The story follows Sig Greebling, an ordinary person, as he discovered the Cornerstone from a Jedi temple.

Throughout the series, Sig's mission is to collect the pieces back together and save the galaxy from its possible doom. The Cornerstone can give him the power to a different version of the world where good guys are bad and vice versa.

One of the most notable appearances from the trailer is the evil version of Jar Jar Binks, also known as Darth Jar Jar. Over the years, fans have theorized that Jar Jar Bink is actually different from how he portrayed himself in the franchise.

Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy Brings Back Beloved Characters

In a blog post, Lucasfilm revealed that Ahmed Best will be reprising his role as Jar Jar Binks. The actor was well-known for voicing the character since "Star Wars: Episode 1- The Phantom Menace" in 1999.

Tony Revolori will voice Dev Greebling, Bobby Moynihan as Jedi Bob, Marsai Martin as Yesi Scala, Michael Cusack as Servo, and Mark Hamill will reprise his role as Luke Skywalker.

"It's hard to believe that it's been twenty-five years since the ground-breaking collaboration between Lucasfilm and the LEGO Group began... It's with that playful spirit in mind that we set out to 'Rebuild the Galaxy' like never before," said James Waugh, executive producer of the show.
