Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) release details for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC

Rockstar Games has officially announced the Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA V) launch date for the next-generation Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One Consoles.

GTA 5 is currently one of the hottest games and its release on the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One is highly-anticipated by passionate gamers worldwide. Rockstar Games has finally given an official date for when the game will become available on these consoles, announcing that availability for PS4, Xbox One, and PC will start on Nov. 18.

In addition, the new version of Grand Theft Auto 5 will also come with a bunch of tweaks and enhancements on board compared to the previous iteration.

"Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will feature a range of major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever," Rockstar Games touts. "In addition to increased low distances and higher resolution, players can expect a range of additions."

Such additions will include more wildlife, new weapons, vehicles, and activities, denser traffic, new foliage system, enhanced damage and weather effects, as well as many others.

"Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will also feature enhanced radio selections with over 100 additional new songs and new DJ mixes from returning DJs across the game's 17 radio stations."

Moreover, Rockstar has also announced that all customers who pre-order the game will get $1,000,000 in-game bonus cash to spend across GTA V and Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA$500K each for Story Mode and for GTA Online in-game accounts.)

Players returning from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will also be able to enjoy some new and exclusive content, including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the GTA series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane, as well as a faster Blimp. Enhanced activities will include wildlife photography, new shooting range challenges, new weapons, and more.

Grand Theft Auto Online, meanwhile, is also in for a treat, with enhancements such as an increased player count, with online play now allowing up to 30 players on PS4 and Xbox One.

Existing players will also be able to transfer their Grand Theft Auto characters and progress to the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Rockstar also promised to release an exciting new trailer, so stay tuned.
