Sony has an exciting new service in store, launching the PlayStation Plus Specials that will offer exclusive deals, offers and sales only to members.

The exclusive new service will work in a similar manner to how Microsoft offered neat promotions to its Xbox Live members, aiming to reward loyal customers with various goodies.

"We've been listening to your feedback, and today I'm thrilled to announce PlayStation Plus Specials, our brand-new deals program offering exclusive discounts for PS Plus members on the newest games and add-ons," Sony's Chieh Chen announced in a new post on the PlayStation Blog on Tuesday, May 26. "That's right, these deals will be available to PS Plus members only."

"In addition to the latest top titles at a sweet discount, these limited-time sale events will offer select DLC bundles exclusively to PS Plus members."

As part of the first PS Plus Specials week, Sony is offering Bloodborne for $47.99, marking the first time ever the title is on sale on the PlayStation Store. In terms of exclusive content for the week, Sony has prepared some neat bundles from Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines," discounted only for PlayStation Plus members.

This PS Plus Specials promotion has kicked off on Tuesday, May 26, and will be available on the PlayStation Store until Monday, June 1, offering some of its newest titles for up to 30 percent off. Once this promotion expires on June 1, Sony will announce new deals and exclusive sales for PS Plus members.
