The Best Smartphones To-Date According to Reviews

Up to date, smartphone users couldn't find a perfect model. Every single one comes with its own drawbacks. Your phone might have an excellent camera, but your colleague's is more beautiful. You might have a good battery life but your colleague's phone has better software.

What would it take to design the perfect smartphone? Maybe this is just a fantasy because there is no perfect or ideal smartphone, just like most of the other things in life. However, it is certain that at least there are some smartphone models that have virtually flawless features and are built with near-perfect components. Would be nice if it'd be possible to borrow the best parts of one phone and attach them to another. So what are the best smartphone parts and features on the market?

For the body, the best looking design is that of the iPhone 6. No other competitor was able to match until now Apple's great attention to detail. Other brands just tried to copy the successful Apple design for their own models, like it is in the case with Samsung's Galaxy S6. The iPhone 6 is super thin, ergonomically built, feels great to hold, it comes with springy buttons and switches, and with curved edges.

The best smartphone screen on the market belongs to Galaxy S6. It displays brilliant colors, is bright, and allows wide viewing angles. With Galaxy S6 in your hands it feels like a 4K ultra-high-definition TV. Its screen resolution is actually four times higher than a standard HD display.

LG G4's processor is the most powerful choice. Even if the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 found inside the HTC One M9 and Samsung Galaxy S6 is technically superior and faster than the LG G4's Snapdragon 808, the problem with the 810 is that the chip is more prone to overheating. We would prefer a slightly lower speed than a burning smartphone in our pocket.

Google's Android 5.1 has been to date the best mobile operating system. But the new Moto X just added a few more tweaks to Android. Therefore, our choice of best smartphone software on the planet today is Moto X. That's a pretty smart OS. The new Android Moto X knows when you're in a meeting, at home, or driving and will automatically announce who is calling, read your texts aloud, or respond with a custom text.

The phone will automatically display the time when you take it out of your pocket. You just have to wave at your phone when you get a call to silence it. Just shake your phone to snap a photo, even if it's locked. You can tap your phone when you get a notification, to get a quick glance at who's the sender.

When it's a matter of the best smartphone camera, the LG G4 might be very well a DSLR replacement. Its camera app launces in just 0.6 seconds and its 16-megapixel camera can take photos in 0.276 seconds. It features a color spectrum sensor, a Laser autofocus, and three-axis image stabilization. You get full control over G4's camera with settings such as ISO light sensitivity, shutter speed, and white balance.

And finally, if ask to choose the best smartphone battery, Droid Turbo's 3,900 mAH battery is the winner. Verizon claims that, fully charged, the battery will last two days of heavy use.
