Dropbox Partners With Adobe To Make PDF Works Easier

Adobe and Dropbox are making the lives of their users easier with a new collaboration. Users will now be able to link their Dropbox accounts to Adobe's PDF Reader, and documents can now be viewed and edited whenever they need to.

For desktop users, this does not seem much of a news breaker since PC users can easily open their Dropbox from a web browser and can easily work on their files when they need to. It is different for iOS Users however, since the use of the new app will avoid the switching from an iPad to a PC when they are working with a PDF document.

A popup bubble on the iOS user's device will come out whenever they are accessing their documents. This will indicate that they can now use the Dropbox and the Adobe Acrobat productively. Having that bubble is an advantage for Adobe as there are thousands of other PDF apps out in the market, but this could also be annoying to some users who has advanced experiences using the Dropbox cloud storage systems in accessing their files.

Adobe's partnership with Dropbox seems like an odd one as their concepts are quite contrary to each other. Though, it seems that both companies are trying to sort their priorities so that they will not get far behind their rivals Microsoft and Google's cloud services.

Other than Dropbox, Adobe announced its partnership with Workday and Salesforce, specializing in electronic signatures. It seems Adobe is planning to integrate eSigns on their PDFs while working on the cloud.

The drag-and-drop workflow is an outstanding concept of passing up documents around people. Companies that demand their workforce to be available when needed can take advantage of this application. With the integration of digital signatures, there would be no need to go to the office and sign documents personally since users can just drag their signatures on the cloud and embed them on.

The Adobe cloud storage integration will be launched for the iOS in the next few months, and will be followed with a release for the Android community in 2016.
