'Final Fantasy XV' Update: Merchandise Ready For Pre-Order; Game Expected To 'Wow' Fans

"Final Fantasy XV" is among the highly anticipated video games this year. Well, fans only have to wait a few more months, as the game is expected to arrive this September. So what does this new installment has to offer?

First off, it is interesting to note that Play Arts Kai have recently announced a pre-order process for the Noctis stand-alone figure. The only catch, however, is it is going to be quite different from the one in the "Final Fantasy XV" Ultimate Collector's Edition.

Crossmap reports that the aforesaid stand-alone figure will have an altered weapon. So in order for fans to complete the Ultimate Collector's Edition, they have to purchase both. Doing so will allow them to acquire all three Noctis weapons.

The "Final Fantasy" franchise has been in the gaming industry for closely 30 years. Fast forward to several games, Square Enix (formerly named as Square Soft) has unveiled the "Final Fantasy XV" trailer. And indeed, the video just proves how the developers have worked hand in hand to make it more realistic than before.

The game's female character, in particular, has distinctive hair strands, which seem to flow when the wind blows. This, according to Examiner, was something that did not happen in the previous installments.

As for the gaming environment, it is appealingly fitted to water-like movements, characters that are seem believable and interactive worlds. While there are some developers who tried to incorporate such details, only "Final Fantasy XV" by far has managed to give a "wow" factor.

Sure, "Final Fantasy XV" is officially called as an action role-playing video game; however, as what critics suggest, it is far more than that. It includes strategic elements of an action-adventure game such as dynamic weather and free roam.

Well, if the upcoming installment in the franchise proves to deliver its potentials and expectations, then there is no doubt it will become a template in today's gaming industry. "Final Fantasy XV" is set for a Sep. 30 release.
