'Batman: Return To Arkham' Is The Remastered Version Of 'Arkham Asylum,' 'Arkham City'

Looks like the rumors are true after all! Warner Bros. is reportedly remastering not only one but two video games for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, namely, 2009's hit "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and 2011's success "Batman: Arkham City." The remastered versions will arrive in the shelves as a bundle and will officially be called "Batman: Return to Arkham."

The highly celebrated installments, according to Batman News, courtesy of Rocksteady Studios will be brought from the grave. The British video game company along with Virtuos will bring the greatness of "Arkham City" and "Arkham Asylum" in the modern gaming era of today.

The aforementioned installments will be bundled as one, titled "Batman: Return to Arkham," for the aforesaid platforms in the gaming industry. As a matter of fact, the game is already made available for pre-order, while the retail price is said to be around $49.99.

Apart from this amazing revelation, the upcoming game "Batman: Return to Arkham" shall make huge waves along with all the various DLCs that were released for both of the old games in the franchise. There is no doubt that this is a pretty cool offer not to miss.

It is worth noting that the original games were equipped with the Unreal Engine 3. However, with the remastered versions, Unreal Engine 4 will be used, marking its first usage in the series so far.

Gamespot notes that aside from the downloadable contents, fans can expect all of the Game of the Year extras as part of the various additions for the much talked about "Batman: Return to Arkham" bundle. Furthermore, many believe that not only is its graphics are improved but the models, environment, effects, shaders and lightning are also upgraded to suit the best interest of today's gamers.

The newly remastered versions of "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City" were since speculated back in March this year. Only after a series of leaks and whatnots did Warner Bros. finally made it all official.

"Batman: Return to Arkham" will set history on July 26 and will be sold based on a suggested retail price of $49.99/€49.99/£39.99.
