Google To Launch Play Family Library For Sharing Purchased Apps

Search Engine site company, Google will soon to launch its newest feature on its Google Play, Play Family Library, which lets the members of the family share purchased apps. Google has updated the app developers regarding the said new feature. 

The Play Family library is set to be released in July 2, Droid Life reported. Beginning that date, apps that were bought by default (unless the makers opt out) in Google Play, will be shared to everyone listed in a family circle and can use it. Google Support has explained the details in the distribution agreement for the app developers. 

The company said that they can also decide, whether not to join or not in the new sharing feature just by ticking an option box; however, when its decided, it cannot be change. Google also told the app makers to include the app purchases made before the coming set date. On the latest distribution agreement given to the app developers, Google also cited the the don'ts while using the Play Family Library sharing. 

The feature will exclude, in-app purchases or to subscription products, according to ZDnet. Google also already allows subscriptions share in Play Music for family groups, which also includes, the use of YouTube Red. Users will be able to enjoy viewing videos on the site without ads, view videos offline, play videos on the background and have premium content. 

"In order to provide a seamless user experience, make sure you allow your customers to share purchases made prior to the DDA update effective date as well," Google stated. On the support site, up to six family members will be able to share purchased apps on Google Play. 

Users will also see whether previous purchases of your app are eligible for Family Library on your store listing page. Family Library will be a way for trusted family members for sharing paid Play Store among one another.
