'Overwatch' Update: Blizzard Releases New Video Featuring Soldier: 76; No More Sombra?

A new video for "Overwatch" has arrived, but it seems not quite as it is expected. Truth is, the video focuses on Soldier: 76, not Sombra. Yes, many fans have been so eager to know about the latter.

According to Polygon, Blizzard has uploaded a new "Overwatch" video on the game's official YouTube channel, and it features the hero shooter Soldier: 76. The said video is deemed as the "fourth and final" animated clip for the current season. Hence, fans will not be getting a preview of Sombra any time soon.

It is worth noting that a NeoGAF user previously made some revelations about Sombra, putting up a series of clues that lead to a supposed reveal of the character. But sadly, the new "Overwatch" video says otherwise.

Nonetheless, make no mistake -- Soldier: 76 is someone that should not be messed with. He can be of good heart, but once agitated, his weapons will do the talking. He is even deemed as the commander of the good dudes.

Soldier: 76 is basically an assault-expert character. He bears with him some heavy weapons like the automatic pulse rifle. As far as the video is concerned, the said "Overwatch" hero is on his way to Dorado to investigate a rampant criminal activities, courtesy of the Los Muertos gang.

PC Gamer reports that the collision between the "Overwatch" character and the criminals will result to an unacceptable outcome. It is said to compromise the hero's objective as a whole. It is where a number of innocent people will be shot unexpectedly.

The most awaited game from Blizzard "Overwatch" has finally arrived. It is made available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is safe to say that this is the studio's first ever brand new franchise in terms of characters and canonship. Hence, many have long been anticipating the game's arrival.
