'Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3' Update: 'Eclipse' DLC Arrives; Another Content To Be Released Come June?

Fans might want to set aside all of the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" shenanigans for now, as the "Eclipse" DLC for the titular "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is already available. And not just that as DLC 3 is also believed to arrive next month.

According to Windowsreport, the most awaited DLC for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" has been made available for Xbox One. The "Eclipse" DLC is said to feature a Zombie-themed content along with four brand new multiplayer maps.

The said "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Eclipse" DLC multiplayer maps are namely the Verge, Spire, Rift and Knockout. Verge is basically of World at War's Bonsai, while Spire is a space airport equipped with futuristic equipment.

Rift also has a futuristic setting, only that it is a military headquarter situated on an unnamed Volcano. Lastly, Knockout is a Shao Lin Temple located on a Private Island.

It is worth noting that the "Eclipse" DLC arrived in PlayStation 4 a month before it arrived in Xbox One console. As for PC owners, they need not to worry -- the said "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" downloadable content has already made its way to the PC version.

Christian Today, on the other hand, reports that the rumored DLC 3 will arrive soon after the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this June. Sure, Activision will place "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" centerstage during the said event; however, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 3 might make waves a week later after E3.

Unfortunately, if the DLC ever gets released, it will only be made available for PlayStation 4 due to Activision and Sony's exclusivity deal. Nonetheless, Xbox One and PC owners are expected to acquire the said "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" downloadable content only after 30 days, which is similar to what the studio did to DLC 2 (now known as "Eclipse" DLC).
