With the continued success of Apple with their gadgets, there are rumors that an iPad Air 3 reveal and release date announcement may come this year in the fall event of the company.

In a report by Ecumenical News, the iPad Air 3 may see the light of day alongside the iPad Mini 5 possibly in June or September.

The report further revealed that rumors started to come out that even though Apple may have changed their focus on the iPad Pros, there is still a possibility that a new Air could come out.

Specs and features according to the site that iPad Air 3 could have are having a newer and more powerful A10 processor, 6.1 mm thickness and could also have four speakers installed.

In line with that, other major updates and upgrades include the introduction of the iOS 10 and a 3D touchscreen seen on the iPad Pros.

Meanwhile, a report from Mac World suggests that Apple might announce a release date of the much-awaited slate at the upcoming WWDC event.

In addition to its features, the site also stated a possibility of having a smart connector on the side of the tablet.

Christian Times also added that the upcoming convention for the California-based tech company will be the announcement of the much-awaited iPhone 7. Although there are no confirmed reports about their releases, fans and techies have to wait for the event on June.

Whether the announcement of the release date of the new iPads, namely the iPad Air 3 and iPad mini 5, is true, fans will still be greeted with a lot of treat, as Apple stated that they have exciting gadgets to announce in the near future.

BGR even confirmed that while the company is working on the iPhone 7, they have hit the "highest production target in about two years."
