iPhone 7 Rumors: Apple Saving Best Features for 7 Plus Model?

iPhone users have more reasons to wait for the iPhone 7 Plus. New leaks confirm the iPhone 7 Plus arrives with serious upgrades over the iPhone 7, basically an overhaul of crucial features.

It's no secret the Plus versions of iPhones come with upgrades that justify the price mark-up. New leaks confirm the new iPhone 7 Plus will have a serious specs overhaul, though. The iPhone 7 Plus will apparently be a class of its own over the iPhone 7, and users may have to wait and see if all these expectations are realized.

Dual Cameras Enhance Camera Specs

Forbes reports the most notable difference is the camera upgrade. It's confirmed the iPhone 7 Plus will have dual cameras, in contrast to the mere optical enhancement on the iPhone 7. It's apparent Apple is joining the ranks of LG and Huawei in adopting dual camera technology.

The pair of lenses enhances the camera features in several ways, by simulating optical zoom, or for covering wide-angle shots. Apple may also have new functions for the upgrade; it's a step in the right direction, and it also justifies the price mark-up.

Upgraded Connectivity

The iPhone 7 Plus will also come with a Smart Connector that enables simultaneous power charging and data transfers. The leaked photos of the phone cases indicate the upgrade with three dots near the base, on the back of the device.

There are also other Plus features iPhone 7 users will surely itch to have, including a 50% RAM upgrade (3GB), and improved battery life. Unconfirmed reports also insist on another release after the iPhone 7 Plus, the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Pro.

There's rumor the new iPhones will also be waterproof. 9to5Mac reports the leaked specs could be outdated plans for the device, and may be entirely different when the device is announced in September. It's possible more features could be announced when the iOS 10 is unveiled in two weeks.
