Why 'The Elder Scrolls 6' Is Still Far From Being A Reality

Fans who have been waiting for "The Elder Scrolls 6" should be happy to know that it is on its way. In fact, Bethesda is said to utilize a brand new re-engineered version of the game. However, the game's road to becoming a reality is still far from what people should expect.

According to LazyGamer, "The Elder Scrolls 6" is indeed happening -- 100 percent. Sadly, it will not be arriving anytime soon. So for fans who have been clamoring for the game, they have to continue playing the waiting game.

Bethesda's Pete Hines confirmed the development of "The Elder Scrolls 6" as well as its release. But in terms of its official release date, it is going to take the backseat for quite some time. Hines describe the highly anticipated title as an "elephant in the room." That they themselves love the series and developing it is not entirely a question. But, at the end of the day, it is "a very long way off" to becoming a reality.

When asked about the "The Elder Scrolls 6" release window, Hines iterated that it is still unknown. One thing is for sure, though: the developers are going to need a huge amount of time. After all, they are still working on two massive projects, both of which are their main priorities for now.

VG247, on the other hand, cites Bethesda being the kind of developer that will not rush things out. That "The Elder Scrolls 6" is in fact deemed as the future title of the ever-popular franchise. So if they are to do it mediocrely (say, due to coping with the interest of the fans), it may arrive half-baked.

Nonetheless, fans hoping for "The Elder Scrolls 6" should still be glad in one way or another. Besides, the studio already has an idea of what it is going to offer. Heck, even the technology to be utilized will not be a question in the future. Simply put, time can only tell.
