Microsoft Surface vs iPad Pro vs Google Pixel C: Which Tablet Is The Best Investment?

There are plenty of gadgets to choose from in the market and there are plenty of hybrids available as well. As another option, smaller electronic items are also being given very powerful software - so much so that they can rival the upper scale devices. Tablets in particular come in a variety of options, specs, design and manufacturers.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes in silver and is 12.3-inches, with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels. According to C|Net, the gadget is a little bit on the heavier side, as it weighs just 786 grams. It is 292 x 201.4 x 8.45 mm all over, with a front camera and rear camera that are 8 megapixels and 5 megapixels respectively.

Naturally, it is supported by Windows 10 Pro with an Intel Core M3, Intel Core I5 or I7 processor. Storage wise, there are options of 4GB, 8GB or 16GB of RAM and internal storage of 128GB and 256GB. The battery lasts for only 9 hours of video playback.

On the other hand, the iPad Pro, which come also comes in silver and is smaller at 9.7 inches, with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It is only 4.36 grams and is 240 x 169 x 6.1 mm. The front camera of the iPad Pro is 12 megapixels, while the rear is 5 megapixels.

It is powered by iOS 9.3 and an Apple A9X chip with M9 motion co-processor. Users have an option of 32Gb, 128GB or 256GB storage. The iPad Pro can run for 10 hours of video play.

In the middle of the two in terms of size is the Google Pixel C, which has a 10.2 inch display and a resolution of 2560 x 1900 pixels. It weighs just 517 grams and is 242 x 179 x 7 mm all around. The front camera is just 8 megapixels and 2 megapixels in the rear camera.

Among the options, Forbes still says Apple's iPad Pro is the best among tablets, in terms of quality and design. Though the price tag is higher than the others, "it takes the tablet experience to the next level."
