Dark Souls 3 Director Reportedly Choosing From 4 Different Endings

Dark Souls 3 is, without a doubt, one of the best games to have ever graced the digital gaming landscape. Shipping over millions of copies worldwide, FromSoftware's latest title is surely a massive hit. Unfortunately, it is going to be last in the entire franchise, with only two remaining DLCs up for schedule. With that, knowing its ending is surely as interesting as it could get. Well, for the game's director, he has four options to choose from.

It has already been iterated in the past that Dark Souls 3 will serve as the conclusion to the franchise as a whole. There will be no spin-offs, follow-ups whatsoever, as the studio aims to focus on bringing new IPS or projects. Nonetheless, fans can expect two DLCs prior to ending of the game.

As previously reported here at iTech Post, the first Dark Souls 3 DLC is rumored to possibly arrive this month. The second one, on the other hand, is expected sometime early next year. Although FromSoftware has remained mummed about these speculations, game director Hidetaka Miyazaki said that they will introduce new features - all of which are unique to the title.

It was also Miyazaki who revealed a little bit about the ending of Dark Souls 3. In an interview with Kotaku, he mentioned four possible endings he is looking considering. He said that there is a specific ending that he personally wants, but cannot specify which one of the four. Nevertheless, the director claims that all of them "are precious part of the story" that players will love to experience.

In the same interview, the aforementioned Dark Souls 3 director also deemed the game as a huge "turning point" for the company. That thanks to it, they have a concrete idea of how game creation should be delivered. Well, this is certainly unquestionable, given the game's massive success.
