Apple's iPhone 7's EarPods Shown In New Leaked Video

A new video leaked online showcases Lightning EarPods for Apple's iPhone 7.

According to BGR, most of the tech experts are almost certain that the iPhone 7 will ship without a 3.5 mm headphone jack. However, it is still uncertain what type of headphones will ship with the device. Most of the experts believe that Apple will ship a pair of Lightning headphones with the new iPhone 7. Some are even speculating that Apple will feature a pair of wireless headphone with the new device.

A newly leaked video has been posted on the YouTube account EverythingApplePro - seen below. Except the Lightning connector at the end, the Lightning based Apple EarPods look exactly like those shipping with current iPhones. It is difficult to say if the leaked video is legit or not, since the headsets depicted could be nothing more than a cheap imitation made in China.

According to 9To5Mac, this is not the first time when images of purposed Apple's iPhone 7 Lightning EarPods shown off. However, this is the first time when the headphones are showcased in action on the video.

The leaked video shows the EarPods being used with an Apple iPhone 6S. In case that Apple will indeed end up launching Lightning-enabled headsets, tech analysts expect that the iPhone 7 will ship with a version that will also contain an inline remote. In fact, the leaked video comes to demonstrate the functionality of the inline remote.

It has also been speculated that Apple will ship a free Lightning to 3.5 mm adapter with the upcoming iPhone 7. This could be a welcome gesture from the high-tech company for its clients who are abandoning a universally used port in order to replace it with a proprietary Apple technology. Providing an adapter for free would also be a smart marketing strategy, especially considering the plunging iPhone sales.
