The ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ cast is back this Fall for its 13th season, which will premiere on September 22 and is forecasted to reveal another sorrowful loss like that of Derek’s. Latin Post mentioned that “Grey’s Anatomy,” over the years, is known for its tradition of making their main characters come and go, thus, another tearful death is possible on its new season.

The hit ABC show started filming a couple of days ago and its actors could not be more excited. Camilla Luddington, who plays Jo, tweeted: "Happy Sunday- today is my last day of hiatus- tmw I step back into the world of greys anatomy- and everthingggg (aka The DRAMA) it entails."

To recall, Season 11 of the said show ended with a grieving Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) on the heartbreaking death of Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey). His character was greatly loved by millions and having witnessed the horrific car accident that killed him was unacceptable. Longtime supporters of the famous television series from various countries were deeply affected by his demise.

"In order for a one-hour drama to continue, there has to be big upheavals," Pompeo said during the 2015 Television Critics Association summer press tour. "Every time we've lost a major character -- we've had such amazing characters on the show and every time we've lost one, it's been devastating and sad. You think, 'How can the show go on?' But that's how the writers find inspiration. So the loss of the big characters is exactly how the show does go on."

What we have here is a nonstop show on saving lives and relationships that continue to touch many people’s emotions. Now that Season 13 will be out in barely 2 months, everyone is happy. And to guess whose character is next in the line of fire adds both thrill and anxiety.
