'Prison Break' Season 5 Revival News & Updates: Everything We Know About Michael Scofield's New Escape Plan

There is a lot in store for this long-awaited revival of the series "Prison Break." Actor Wentworth Miller revealed a few teasers and questions to ponder on for the upcoming season five premiere.

Paul Scheuring's famous television serial drama "Prison Break" is confirmed to return to the small screen for its fifth season. The show's fourth season ended abruptly back in 2009 and the fans of the show have not stopped expressing their desire to revive the show.

"Prison Break" has always been known to have an intense and interesting storyline that could lead the viewers to fall off the edge of their chairs. Its revival has gotten avid fans of the show very excited. According to Vine Report, despite the risk they're taking in reviving a show that has been gone for seven years now, actor Wentworth Miller believes it is worth it.

The show also has a large number of viewers abroad. Hence, the fact that "Prison Break" season five would be set in the Middle East might be a nod to longtime fans. It gives the show a whole new perspective after everyone was under the impression it was already over by the fourth season.

Movie News Guide reported that Miller teased about how his character, Michael Scofield, who will once more have tattoos all over his arms, hands and palms. These ones, however, seem to serve a much different purpose than his goals from season one. Despite serving a different purpose, his tattoos on his body will just be as important.

As for Miller's character's relationship on the show, it is highly possible that he will not be reuniting with his on-screen partner on the show, Sara. Their relationship's ending during the season four finale was very tragic, with Sara flying off to get married to someone else. Miller admitted, however, that his character will always have a connection his former partner on the show. It hasn't been confirmed yet whether or not she will be coming back into his life for the fifth season of "Prison Break."

Season five of "Prison Break" is set to premiere sometime next year, though there hasn't been any exact date as of yet.
