Rick and Morty Season 3 Gets Green Light From Adult Swim, What To Expect

It has recently been confirmed that "Rick and Morty" season three has already been given the green light by the network, Adult Swim. There has also been additional information revealed on what is in store for the upcoming season.

Four-Minute Mini-Episode Of "Rick and Morty"

There has been a mini-episode released for the animated science fictions series "Rick and Morty," which lasted four minutes. There have also been reports that creator Justin Roiland improvised some of the scenes in the mini-episode, according to a previous report made by iTech Post.

The mini-episode also featured Rick's granddaughter, Summer. In the episode, Rick was working on an experiment and research that resulted in Summer receiving a full scholarship by Harvard's Dean of Admissions. However, this experiment that Rick invented and injected into Morty's knees led to the death of the latter.

The mini-episode ended there which only led to the fans even more anticipated of the upcoming third season of the animated series. Initially, the "Rick and Morty" season three was set to be released this August, but was pushed to a couple of months later. However, it has been assured that it will air before the end of the year.

Summer, Rick's Granddaughter, To Be Joining The Duo In Their Adventures

The Bit Bag reported that despite the creators keeping mum about what to expect on the upcoming season, it looks like Summer will be joining Morty in assisting their grandfather Rick in his experiments. Based form the mini-episode, Summer might be joining the duo in their adventures this season and an additional character has excited the fans as well.

Dan Harmon, one of the creators of the series, initially shared his desire to get actor Vin Diesel as one of the actors to vice the characters on the show. Although this hasn't been confirmed yet, history has proved that they could get famous actors to voice for the characters on the series.
