Red Dead Redemption 2 Update: Development Still Vague; Game Might Be Available For PS4 Neo

Aside from GTA 6, Red Dead Redemption 2 is also among the games fans have been asking for Rockstar to develop. The sad thing, though, is everything about it remains a mystery. But of course, that doesn't mean it's impossible for it not to arrive. In fact, rumor has it that the game might likely to be released along with the coming of the PS4 Neo.

According to Mobile & Apps, a known industry insider or source by the name of "Tidux" revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be unveiled alongside the new PS4 Neo from Sony. If this is the case, then there's every possibility that Rockstar is already developing the said title.

It should be noted that the studio is known for keeping mum about anything related to updates -- be it minor or major -- regarding an upcoming title. And sure enough, this could also be the case with Red Dead Redemption (as well as GTA 6). In the past, games like GTA 4 and GTA 5 didn't make it to E3 (including other game events or shows), but were then released.

Moreover, Rockstar's very own CEO Strauss Zelnick already iterated in the past that the franchise is a permanent thing in the company. So, in one way or another, Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to happen. And considering Zelnick's statement, there's a very good chance that it is close to becoming a reality.

NSEAVoice, on the other hand, notes that the Red Dead Redemption franchise has a very large fanbase. And this is something second to that of Grand Theft Auto. And take note: such massiveness can prove a huge success in the market.

As of this writing, Rockstar has still remained mum about Red Dead Redemption 2. If it won't be revealed this year, then probably 2017 will be its reveal window. Either way, as long as it's officially confirmed, fans will surely be jumping in joy.
