"Orange Is The New Black" Season 5 has some updates to anticipating fans out there.
It appears that fan favorite characters Officer John Bennett and Lolly Whitehill might make a comeback in the "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5. Plus, Taylor Schilling hinted that her character, Piper Chapman might face tough times and could even possibly face death.
Officer Bennett And Lolly's Return In "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5
Actor Matt McGorry, who played as Corrections Officer Bennett, has shared a photo in Instagram that made fans speculate of his return in "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5. The said snap was taken with co-star Laverne Cox (Sophia Burset) in Los Angeles.

It can be recalled that Cox's character has also made a return to the show, thus resulting to fans theorizing that two could be working together for the upcoming season.
Officer Bennett was last seen at the end of "Orange Is The New Black" season 3, when he apparently left his job at Litchfield and his engagement to Daya, played by Dascha Polanco. It was still unclear as to why his character's disappearance seems to be so sudden.
In the season 4 finale of "Orange Is The New Black", Daya managed to get her hands on Humphrey's gun following Poussey's death and pointed it back at him. Although Daya was not seen pulling the trigger during the last episode, it'll sure to put her in trouble when season 5 begins.
Thus, fans speculate that this will be the perfect timing for Officer Bennett's comeback. No confirmation has been made regarding this speculation though.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actress Lori Petty, who plays Lolly Whitehill in "Orange Is The New Black", revealed that she might make a comeback in season 5.
"I certainly hope so. I do think we will. I can't say for sure, but I absolutely think we will," Petty tells THW. "They are just now filming episode one [of season five] and you know how we ended season four. They have a lot to deal with right now! I'm just waiting on the phone call to get back on the plane. I'm sure it will come, but we have 13 episodes and they've got a lot to take care of, so we'll see."
What Will Be Piper's Fate In "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5?
Poussey' death has led fans to think that even the main characters are not exempted from demise. In an interview with Popsugar, Taylor Schilling, who plays Piper Chapman, hinted that her character might have the same fate. She revealed that Piper will see "tough times" and that she will be in survival mode during the course of season 5.
It can be recalled that in the finale, Piper's hand appeared to be getting smashed off. She revealed that she doesn't know what will really happen to Piper when "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5 returns.
"Orange Is The New Black" Season 5 airs to Netflix in June 2016.
