NBA 2K17 Still Criticizing NBA Live For Its 2010 Blunder With "Jesus Bynum" On Intro

NBA 2K17 is still taking pot shots at NBA Live which is, its chief rival for basketball video game supremacy.

During the beta stage of testing development prior to making the NBA 2K17 public, game testers were treated to an unexpected bonus during the opening squad introduction. One of the characters with a hairdo akin to Jimmy Butler did a Michael Jordan wings-pose, according to Game Rant.

For gamers, this Easter Egg was mainly poking fun at the NBA Live installment entitled NBA Elite 11. EA Sports ill-fated reformatting of its franchise was met with tons of bad publicity, thanks to development problems prior to being release.

NBA 2K17 couldn't just let it pass and instead marked the overview as "Glitch", hence obviously pointing out the NBA Elite 11 blunder  which their competitor had difficulty troubleshooting which ended a disastrous video game campaign.

In the NBA Elite 11 bug, Los Angeles Lakers big man in what has become dubbed as the "Jesus Bynum", stands immobile in the jump circle which was just one of the technical problems the hounded the demo version.

Game glitches aren't usually something to be celebrated as they are tragic programming mistakes. Typically, they range from irritating to game-breaking, and seldom do they have any beneficial side-effects. However, sometimes such bugs will gain a degree of celebrity status, either due to its benefits or the impact on how the game is played.

Glitches from the Vanish-Doom bug in one of the installments from the Final Fantasy series to the bugs that made you unable to finish Space Station Silicion Valley, as well as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword can prove to be not just laughable but truly off-putting.
