Huawei is said to be coming out with the Mate 9 by the end of this year. By all accounts it will have some good specs. One of those leaked features is a dual 20 MP rear camera, which seems to becoming more common, since the iPhone 7 Plus' release. The Huawei Mate 9 Is Also expected to have the Kirin 960 chipset.

All About The Dual Rear-Cameras

The main feature that the Huawei Mate 9 will have is its dual 20 MP cameras at the rear, as Phone Arena reports. This dual camera feature might likely be the same as that of the Huawei P9, which are 12 MP. The Huawei Mate 9 then will be getting an upgraded version once it comes out. 

GSM Arena says that the Huawei Mate 9 will have Android Nougat once it comes out. It will also have 6 GB of RAM. Aside from the specs that have come out so far, not much else has been known about the coming new smartphone. 

Another feature that it will have would be the Kirin 960 processor. This processor would be using the 16nm process and an octa-core CPU. Analyst Pan Jiutang has said these two features would make the Huawei Mate 9 stand out among other smart phones. 

Huawei Mate 8 vs Huawei Mate 9 Leaks

A teaser image is said to have also come out for the coming smartphone, though at closer inspection it turns out that the image used for the alleged teaser is the Huawei Mate 8 and not the coming new smartphone. The specs featured in the teaser though are that of the Huawei Mate 9.

What people are now waiting for is its release date and its price. A December launch is being speculated for the Huawei Mate 9 though no exact date has been given yet. Its price has not been revealed yet either. As its launch draws near though there would likely be more details coming out about the Huawei Mate 9.
