Destiny Launches Rise Of Iron Trailer: Servers Down For Maintenance

Bungie recently released the final launch trailer of its newest major expansion: Destiny: Rise of Iron. Complete with hair-raising narration, it took us into a Nordic-themed sneak peak of their newest action-packed raids and expressive armors.

Destiny Servers Offline

As they prepare for the official release of the expansion, Bungie has been taking their Destiny servers down to perform maintenance since last Thursday. They have also just recently announced that they'll be taking down the servers again today for a couple of hours, although it might take longer.

Beggining at 7:30 a.m. PT/ 10:30 a.m. ET/ 2:30 p.m. UTC, players will not be able to log in on Destiny in all platforms. Including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. As the servers go offline, player activities will forcibly halt and they will be pulled from the game at 8 a.m. PT/ 11 a.m. ET/ 3 p.m. UTC. If the maintenance goes smoothly, servers will be up and running by 9:30 p.m. PT/ 12:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. UTC.

Boosters And Updates

You can level up quicker by using real money in Destiny:Rise of Iron as it will have paid experience boost. Rise of Iron will introduce a way for players to buy experience boosters using silver, the in-game currency obtained only through real world money.

The boosters are said to provide increased experience rate and gain for Crucible, House of Judgement, and Vanguard. These boosters will also be attainable as random item drop from Sterling Treasure Boxes and Radiant Treasures.

In addition, Rise of Iron will also include several new emotes, a handful of new onarments, and new dance moves for players who like to express themselves.

Release

Destiny: Rise of Iron will be released on September 20, introducing a new era of snow-covered Plaguelands and more engaging gameplay. You can watch the trailer below:
