Iphone 8 For 2017: Impressive And Radical

What better way to celebrate a decade in the Apple industry but to launch a new iPhone? In 2017, iPhone will turn 10 years in the market. Certainly, Apple will prepare something ingenious that will catch all of our attention - as they always do. Hence, we share you everything we know about the rumour circling around on iPhone 8.

Impressive and radical changes await the iPhone 8 technology. Rumors suggest that iPhone 8 will have a radical design, including an edge-to-edge display, eliminating the top and bottom bezels that feature the Touch ID fingerprint sensor and front-facing camera. iPhone 8 will have a camera built directly into the display implying the absence of a Home button. Jon Ive has been forecasting an iPhone that looks similar to a single sheet of glass and 2017 might just be the year to realize all of these.

iPhone is said to display a boasting flexible OLED instead of an LCD. This will allow for introduction of a thinner device that will consume less power and will offer a better display with better contrast ratio and real-life colors. Similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, iPhone 8 may also have curved edges on both sides.

Rumors suggest that Apple will gear away from using aluminum as in iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6s, and SE. Instead, iPhone 8 will re-adopt a glass body similar to iPhone 4.

iPhone 8 is more inclined to feature an A11 chip that will run the upgraded version of Apple's mobile operating system, iOS 11. The chip will be built on the ARM's highly-efficient 10-mm manufacturing process. The A11 chip will be smaller, faster, and more efficient.

Additionally, it is said that the new model may involve more advanced biometric features such as iris scanning and facial recognition. Nothing much was said however it is presumed that these will be providing alternate ways for accessing the unit while providing more security.

To date, it is said that Apple is looking for chips that can scan the iris from Xintec, a supplier based in Taiwan. Zintec is planning to begin production of the component in bulk by 2017.
