‘Power Rangers’ Movie News & Updates: Original Green Ranger To Appear In The Film’s Reboot; Bill Hader Casted As Alpha 5

“Power Rangers” will not live to its roots if the original cast will not appear in the reboot of the movie. Also, the robot Alpha 5 has to star an incredible actor that will deliver its famous cry.

Jason David Frank To Make A Cameo In The “Power Rangers” Movie
When the reboot of the movie “Power Rangers” was announced, everyone anticipated that the original cast members will reprise their roles but the picture was shattered as new set of actors and actresses will play various rangers roles in the new film.

A report noted that even the former “Power Rangers” were dismayed with the decision of not including them or at the very least give them cameo roles.

“Unfortunately we were not invited to be part of the film, which is confusing to me, but I’m excited about the film nevertheless,” Walter Jones (Zack the Black Ranger) said.

Another member of the original group, Karan Ashley (Aisha the Yellow Ranger) also shared the same thoughts.

“They’re not a sentimental bunch, and it’s fine. We all wish we could be part of that movie. Fans everywhere ask, ‘Are you in this new movie?’ We’re not, no one is in the movie. It’s a true reboot. It’s all new, all fresh.”

Now, the loyalists of the original squad can finally have a sigh of relief as the original Green ranger in the acting skills of Jason David Frank will make a short appearance in the latest film.

Bill Hader Joins The Cast As Android Alpha 5
Another impressive actor will join the amazing roster of Bryan Cranston (Zordon) and Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa) in the new “Power Rangers” Movie.

The “Trainwreck” star who also voiced BB-8 droid of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will give life to the robot Alpha 5 in the voice of Bill Hader.

It’s an "Aye-yi-yi!" moment indeed.
