Brad Pitt committed suicide after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce is the newest rumor plaguing their already controversial split.

Not really. According to a report, this rumor is not true. "By The Sea" actor Brad Pitt is the most recent victim of an internet death hoax.

According to the death hoax, Brad Pitt, aged 52 has shot himself at a shooting range on Sunday due to the stress of his divorce with Angelina Jolie. It was also reported that Brad Pitt had a history of depression and that the divorce has triggered it again which caused him to end his life.

This ridiculous death hoax was made by the same website who has also caused the many internet deaths of several celebrities. Recent victims are Sylvester Stallone, Vin Diesel, Jaden Smith, Jim Carrey, John Cena, and even Angelina Jolie. None of the mentioned celebrities are dead.

The website who published the death hoax aims to steal personal information from the Facebook profiles of those who clicks it.

Brad Pitt currently faces child abuse allegations. Reports say that the incident occurred on the plane but Brad Pitt claims that he is not guilty of any improper physical contact. Speculation is strong that the cause for their divorce is that Brad Pitt got into a violent fight with his son Maddox.

"The FBI is continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued," said the bureau in a statement. The Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services, on the other hand, stated that they cannot confirm nor deny the subjects of their investigation.

The death hoax of the actor is not true however, no comment from Brad Pitt regarding this matter has been said. He however, commented that he is deeply saddened by Angelina Jolie's filing for divorce.
