Selena Gomez surprises her fans as Cashmere Cat releases a new track from his upcoming debut album "Wild Love" featuring her in a song titled "Trust Nobody." Gomez sings as the lead vocal that comes with a guest verse from Tory Lanez.
It is not confirmed if the recording happened before or after the singer announced her decision to take a break from her tour. However, reports claim that the collaboration possibly happened before she took a break two months ago. The song is scheduled to go live on Friday but it looks like it got leaked a day earlier. The new song is described as offering more chiller vibes compared to Cashmere Cat's "The Weeknd".
It was in August when the fans last heard from the singer when she took a leave from her scheduled "Revival Tour". The singer said she needs to take care of herself so she can deal with her depression, anxiety and panic attacks due to her condition. It can be remembered that the singer admitted being diagnosed with Lupus saying "As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,"
The singer wants to live a proactive, healthy and happy life which led her to take some time off from all her work and even her social media accounts. She thanked her fans for all the support and said you know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best." Gomez hopes that by sharing this, she is not alone and wishes that she is also able to encourage others to "address their own issues"
The co-CEO and co-President of the Lupus Research Alliance said "We are so proud of Selena for taking care of herself and bringing awareness to this sometimes very misunderstood illness."
