'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Spoilers, News And Updates: Survey Corps To Lose Another Asset; Armin To Step Up After Almost Getting Killed?

Since the day it was confirmed that "Attack On Titan" Season 2 will be released next year, fans of the action-packed anime series have been theorizing non-stop as to what will transpire in its second installment. This time, another theory surfaced online claiming that the Survey Corps will lose another great asset.

"Attack On Titan" Season 2 is expected to take on the original storyline of Hajime Isayama's blockbuster manga. With that, many speculate that a character's death is bound to happen when the hit series returns.

In the manga version, Levi and the rest of the Survey Corps set on a mission to save their home from the enormous Titans. However, the task has taken more lives in the process. "Attack On Titan" Season 2 is expected to showcase that part of story with Captain Erwin Smith as the one to be taken away for good.

Rumors claim that Erwin, who battled against the Beast Titan, will be injured at the same time as Armin, who faced the Colossus Titan. Unfortunately, only one of them could be saved with the serum. The remaining Survey Corps have split decisions as to who they will choose to revive.

Amid all the commotion, Eren pleaded that Armin should be saved while Levi wanted to spare the life of Erwin as he has more potential in saving humanity. Eren insisted that Armin deserves to be saved. In the end, Levi was left with no choice but to give in and save Armin, thus Erwin meeting his demise for good.

With this kind of scenario in "Attack On Titan" Season 2, it is only fitting for Armin to step up his game and prove that Erwin's sacrifice will be worth it. Armin's second chance in life could possibly mean bigger responsibilities for him. Although, this might terrify him, fans can expect Armin to pay his dues and use the opportunity to improve.

Will Armin be able to prove his worth after Erwin's sacrifice? Find out the answer when "Attack On Titan" Season 2 premieres in spring of 2017.
