Mafia 3 PC Update Will Shock All The Fans

After the latest issue regarding Mafia 3's FPS limitation for its PC edition, 2K Games is quick to announce that an upcoming update will be released by the end of the week that will drastically improve the gaming experience of the PC community. And they've also added an extra twist that will come as a surprise for most fans.

Mafia 3 has been officially launched today across all platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. But prior to its official release, Mafia 3 has suffered a barraged of criticisms especially from the PC community regarding its FPS caps which restricts the user from playing the game above 30 FPS. The FPS limitation certainly lead to a backlash of resentment from PC gamers, that could've resulted in a major poor reception of the game across all platforms had it not for 2K Games that quickly addressed the issue in an official statement:

"We know how important having options that best suit your PC's performance capabilities are. The team has been hard at work ensuring that Mafia III's performance is consistent across all platforms, and right now the game runs at a solid 30 frames-per-second. We are currently working on an update for PC that will give players the option to play Mafia III at higher framerates. We'll share more details about the update, and when you can expect it to arrive, very soon. In the meantime, the team welcomes feedback and would like to hear from you about what performance adjustment options are important to you. We're actively considering a number of additional post-launch improvements on PC that would give players more control over how they can tailor the game's experience to suit their rig's performance."

Now, it is confirmed that the update will soon be released and the developers' are now making the 'final touches' before it is launched. The upcoming update will now be able to support 30 and 60 FPS as well as a fully unlock FPS option (uncapped) for those gamers that have high-end devices.

The update is expected to be released this weekend and aside from the unlimited FPS option, 2K confirmed that "other improvements" are underway to improve the Mafia 3 gaming experience across all desired platforms.
