Gears Of War 4 Release Update: Customers Furious At Amazon For Delaying Pre-Orders

Gears of War 4 customers are in a rage following reports that Amazon is delaying release of their pre-orders. Worse, four-day early access with premium editions might no longer be in the package.

A few Gears of War 4 customers have already come forward to express how they feel about the possible delay of their pre-orders for the game at Amazon. According to a report from Polygon, consignments have been moved to be out on the week of the game's launch. Anything worse than that is the possibility that pre-orders might come later than that.

Upset Gears Of War 4 Customers

Furious customers took the matter to a Gears of War 4 community on Reddit expressing how they feel about Amazon's insensitive actions. As expected, customers are upset due to the fact that they paid a premium just to get ahead of the game and yet nothing will come on the expected date which was on Friday, Oct. 7.

Gears of War 4 premium versions cost $99.99 for Ultimate Edition and $249.99 for package bundled with a statue. These supposedly provide customers four days early access to the game. The much-anticipated game will be launched Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Microsoft Responds To Gears Of Wars 4 Complaints

In a statement released to the same site, Microsoft said: "We understand that some Amazon customers have had their delivery of Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition delayed. Impacted customers should contact Amazon customer service as they work to resolve this issue."

In the latest update, a few Amazon customers are reported to have already received their digital download copies of the game via email.

Amazon Gets Backlash Too For FIFA 17

In another news, Amazon was also bombarded with backlash on Friday, Oct. 7 from FIFA 17 customers as the Xbox 360 versions sold in the site have no The Journey story mode. The product was flagged with one-star reviews by customers in rage.
