Rise of the Tomb Raider is a sequel to the video game that was released in 2013 -Tomb Raider. It is a third-person action-adventure video game published by Square Enix and developed by Crystal Dynamics. The game was released in Xbox One and Xbox 360 in 2015 and recently, the game is released and is now available on PS4.

Rise of the Tomb Raider revolves around Lara Croft whom the players will be controlling. The setting of the game is in a valley that is haunted by the echoes of the past. Lara Croft goes to an expedition to Syria to find answers from the lost city of Kitezh in which her father was obsessed about, her father's obsession with the lost city led him to commit suicide.

Lara couldn't accept her father's death; which is also the reason why she's off to the lost city, to find the tomb of the Prophet of Constantinople and to get a hold of a divine object that can grant immortality.

The game features crafting and hunting in order for Lara Croft to survive. The crafting feature allows players to craft items that can be useful; players can gather resources by scavenging from plants and animals. Meanwhile, in the hunting feature, players can hunt for animals and use them for food and clothing. Particular animals can also be hunted to gain stats. The game consists of solving puzzles, battling enemies and going through a lot of harsh environments.

According to GameSpot, the game is "superb" when it comes to combat. "The Siberian wilderness is just as detailed and gorgeous as it is on Xbox One," "Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4 is still a journey worth taking" said by one of the reviews from GameSpot.

GameSpot gave the game a score of 9/10. Metro, another site about the latest updates and news gave the game a score of 8/10 saying that the game isn't just a good game - it is definitely a great bargain.
