Pro Skateboarder, Model Dylan Rieder Died Due To Cancer At 28

The skateboarding community has just tragically lost one of its pioneers, Dylan Rieder. The skateboarder passed away this Wednesday at the young age of 28 due to cancer.

Dylan Rieder grows up in Westminister, California where he started skating at the age of 9. He became a well-known figure in extreme sports since then and worked for reputable skateboarding companies such as Birdhouse, Quicksilver, Osiris, Huf, Libre, Alien Workshop, and F-ing Awesome.

According to sources, Dylan Rieder released a skateboarding video in the year 2006 entitled "Transworld Skateboarding's A Time to Shine" which was then followed by "Mind Field" created for Alien Workshop in 2009.

The skateboard master is not only a skater himself but also an edgy model who was featured in DKNY's spring collection for the year 2014 alongside Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn. Dylan Rieder was also seen on the rock band Supreme's single entitled " Cherry".

Along with these numerous video clips done by Dylan Rieder, the one which is the most memorable would be "Gravis Part" way back in 2012 which is said to be one of the most graceful and powerful skateboarding caught in video.

Dylan Rieder's family are requesting to the pioneer skater's fans and friends that instead of flowers, donations should be given to Dr. Stephen Forman for the skater's honor.

Certainly, Dylan Rieder will never be easily forgotten especially by those who look up to him as a skateboarding enthusiast. He will always be remembered by the way he rides and by the way he loves those who are dear to him.
