Huawei Mate 9: Full Specs, Release Date, And Everything Else You Need To Know

While Samsung fans are mourning the loss of the Galaxy Note 7, Huawei fans are happy to know important things regarding the all new Android Mate 9. The details of the phone were leaked and published online, which made it more exciting.

The Chinese phone company is hard at work on the follower to its Mate 8 phablet device, which was excitedly received around the world for its improbable power and two-day battery life.

Huawei Mate 9 Features

Nowadays, photos of the new Mate 9 have been leaked online by Evan Blass for the first time ahead of an expected public reveal on November 3rd. There are two types of the smartphone, one of which features a dual-edge curved display with no bezels at all.

The main feature that the Huawei Mate 9 will have is its dual 20 MegaPixel cameras, as Phone Arena reports. This dual camera feature might likely be the same as that of the Huawei P9, which are 12 MP too. The Huawei Mate 9 then will be getting an improved version once it comes out.

GSM Arena says that the Huawei Mate 9 will have Android Nougat once it comes out. It will also have 6 GB of RAM. Aside from the specs that have spread out so far, not much else has been known about the anticipated new smartphone.

Another feature that it will have would be the Kirin 960 processor. This processor would be using the 16nm process and an octa-core CPU. Analyst Pan Jiutang has said these features would make the Huawei Mate 9 stand out amidst other smartphones.

As for colour schemes, sources leaked that it would be available in 9 different colors: Sky Grey, Mocha Gold, Champagne Gold, Amber Gold, Ceramic White, Amber Grey, Rose Gold, Moonlight Silver, and Enamel Gloss Black.

Huawei Release Date and Price

Actual retail announcement date predictions and launch date bets have varied from September to December and everything in between. However, Huawei has just sent out invitations to an event on 3 November in Munich.

Of the features it has and the good quality it portrays, it's been claimed that the cheapest model will only be available in Europe and that it'll cost around €700, around $770.
