Dishonored VR Is Under Way? Developers Hinted Some Details

Dishonored 2 is an upcoming game by Arkane Studios and a sequel to the previous hit game, Dishonored. For a start, Dishonored 2 will feature two main characters Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano, both will be playable. As the report mentions that these two characters possess a variety of supernatural powers respectively. In addition, the game requires multiple playthroughs to be fully understood while Arkane Studios also created a design allowing players to complete the game without killing anyone.

According to Game Rant, the developer is too busy working on the upcoming Dishonored game. However, Arkane Studios never stopped thinking about the future of the franchise. Based on the recent interview, the game developer mentions that building Dishonored VR is now under the radar. Christophe Carrier, level designer of Dishonored 2, said that Dishonored VR is a level design dream. In addition, he also said that there are lot of things that can be quickly converted into virtual reality and it would be a fun experience.

However, Carrier said that Dishonored VR would just be a port for the two Dishonored titles since the games could not be ported on VR as to date. He said that the titles should be designed thoroughly and rightfully fitted for virtual reality. Carrier suggested that in the VR version, Blink will be the players' only method of movement since all the fatalities will make them throw up.

On the other hand, Bethesda, Arkane Studios' sister studio, has added teleportation to its Fallout 4 VR. It is clear that Dishonored is only precautious about their players' experience. As of today, Dishonored VR has passed the first stage and its release should be expected any time soon.

Dishonored 2 is scheduled for release on Nov. 11 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while additional information about the release date of Dishonored VR will be out soon.
