Robert Downey Is Willing To Be The Jarvis Of Mark Zuckerberg

The Facebook creator, Mark Zuckerberg, mentioned that he want to build an artificial intelligence (AI) system to control his home, sort of like Jarvis in the 'Iron Man' movie series. Yesterday, he asked for people's idea on who should be the system's voice. We all had the same person in our mind on who would fit in best, but few would have anticipated Hollywood A-lister Robert Downey Jr. to volunteer for the job. Iron Man himself (Robert Downey Jr.) responded to the call in a fairly odd answer.

According to CNBC, "It's time to give my AI Jarvis a voice. Who should I ask to do it?" posted by mark on Facebook and Robert Downey Jr. Commented, "I'll do in a heartbeat if Bettany gets paid and donates it to a cause of Cumberbatch's choosing...that's the right kind of STRANGE!" and Mark replied "this just got real." The Verge reiterate that, he asked that Paul Bettany, who plays Iron Man's AI assistant Jarvis, be paid and then contribute the proceeds to a cause of Benedict Cumberbatch's choosing.

Other suggestions surfaced among the more than 36,000 comments including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Neil deGrasse Tyson, T-Pain, Scarlet Johanson, and many more. AI has been a big focus for technology companies with software such as Apple's Siri or Google Assistant set to play a big part in the way humans interact with devices.

"My personal challenge for 2016 is to build a simple AI to run my home and help me with my work," he wrote on Facebook in January 3, 2016. Zuckerberg mentioned plans to buld his AI system control as a part of his New Year's resolution in January. In summer, the Facebook chief executive said that his AI assistant can do simple things such as controlling the lights or changing the temperature of his house.
