Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Beta Version Launches On PS4

Before its official launch, Bandai Namco grants their players to experience the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game first-hand. As announced, the open beta of the game has just gone live on PlayStation 4. It offers a solid slice of the game which will give their fans enough hype when the game launches later this month.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, the beta version enables players to experience some of the game's new improvements. It allows them to create their own character and take part of the game's handful of missions that will open up the full game. In addition, players were also able to bring their characters and take on other players online. Fans who have played the first game already knows what they will be getting on the sequel. However, some improvements were also done that these fans will be pleased to see.

Based on the reports from PlayStation Lifestyle, Dragon Ball Xenoverse Beta's file size is 6.2GB and downloadable via PlayStation Store. After downloading the beta file, players will be able to play the game until Oct. 17 at 1 AM PT/4PM ET/10AM CEST. On the other hand, the close beta that took place last week was successful and received a positive review. However, there are some reported problems that are under observation. One of these discovered problems is the unresponsiveness of ally's AI during battle. It was suggested that fans should keep an eye on these reported issues during the game's full launch later on.

Aside from the announcement of open beta, Bandai Namco also released a gameplay trailer for the villainous Black Goku from Dragon Ball Super. This new character will be accessible only if you pre-order the game. Some other pre-order bonuses are Tao Pai Pai stick vehicle and Super Saiyan Goku keychain.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will launch on Oct. 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
