The physically isolated versions of Department of Defense-specific Azure Government and Office 365 US Government Defense will be available by the end of 2016. An additional two dedicated regions will connect the networks of the Department of Defense (DoD) by means of the Microsoft Express Route.
Department Of Defense's Impact Level 5
The new versions are designed to meet DoD's Impact Level 5 controls. It will permit the use of the said cloud computing platform in managing controlled information for DoD's National Security System data. Microsoft is yet to get the DoD Impact Level 5 Provisional Authorization for Azure and Office 365.
Microsoft also revealed that they are going to expand in Arizona and Texas. The two new Azure Government regions is an addition to the other four dedicated regions for government customers. The tech company pointed out that this is more than any other cloud provider. It gives a range of options for the government agencies on where they host their data.

The Office 365 will fit perfectly with the transfer of productivity suites online.
