The Elder Scrolls 6 is happening -- there's no doubt about that. However, Bethesda has yet to reveal an exact release date. Hence fans are clinging to whatever speculations and/or rumors there are. Among the latest is the possibility of the title introducing a brand new class system. If there's truth to any of this, here's how it'll work.
On a Reddit thread, people are talking about The Elder Scrolls 6 reliving the classes such as Morrowind or Oblivion. It holds true, though, that it can introduce some restrictions to the community. Nonetheless, the good thing about it is it can bring some sort of order, setting players on the right place. Well, let alone the fact that it can help offer a more solid character building.
Of course, there's more to The Elder Scrolls 6 apart from the aforementioned class system. One thing worth mentioning is the idea of the title bringing a virtual reality (VR) support. But then again, people have to keep in mind that it will all depend on the status quo of the aforesaid technology by the time the game releases.
As previously reported here at iTech Post, one of the features people looking at is a brand new leveling system for The Elder Scrolls 6. That, in one way or another, doing so can offer a more improved and well-balanced leveling process for players. Some suggest that the system could cover the special skills aspect, while others believe that it'll be more about players investing a good amount of time. Either way, the options are there to replace the traditional way of generating levels -- something that is common to almost all games out there.
As for the gameplay of The Elder Scrolls 6, it remains vague. A new world map, however, is what most fans are hoping to see. There are talks about employing new worlds straight from Skyrim, but then again, these are all but rumors.
Hopefully, in the near future, Bethesda will shed some light on The Elder Scrolls 6. Perhaps they can give the community a clear release window for the game. Or maybe, just maybe, they can shell out detailed information about its gameplay.
