MacBook Pro 2016 Could Launch This October, New Claims About Release Date Surface Online

Apple's alleged MacBook Pro 2016 has been making headlines this past year even though the company has never mentioned its release. People have been looking forward to its launch despite the fact that Apple never really confirmed the laptop's existence. Luckily, leaks and renders have been surfacing all over the web these past few months. Usually, this indicates the arrival of a product. This means that there's a good chance that the MacBook Pro 2016 will make an appearance anytime soon.

MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, New Claims

Recent reports from Japanese website Macotakara claim that Apple will be holding an event later this October. It's worth mentioning that the said source has been quite reliable in the past, Techno Buffalo reported. Macotakara was one of the first to claim that Apple will be ditching the iPhone's headphone jack, which may have sounded like a poorly-made rumor at the time. However, it turned out to be true.

With that said, there's a good chance that the rumored October 27 Apple event will turn out to be true. The company is actually known for holding October hardware events and targeting holiday sales, so this claim isn't exactly impossible. So if Apple is indeed launching something new this October, an Apple-Microsoft showdown could once again be anticipated. The Surface maker is also expected to announce new devices this coming October 26.

MacBook Pro 2016 Latest News

According to the latest rumor, the MacBook Pro 2016 will no longer have USB A ports. It was said that the laptop will now stick to USB C and Thunderbolt 3, GSM Arena reported. Past rumors suggest that the MacBook Pro 2016 will also come with a Touch ID and an OLED bar. As for MacBook Air news, rumor has it that Apple will be discontinuing its 11-inch variant. Needless to say, Apple is still silent about these matters.
