Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta Is Now Live On Xbox One And PlayStation 4

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta has now entered its second phase of testing after a successful first phase. As previously reported, the second phase is not a PS4 time-exclusive and will be available for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Xbox One owners can finally take a glimpse of the upcoming Call of Duty game.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta marks the second weekend of beta testing and will be available to both consoles. However, Xbox One owners are required to do a pre-order of the game in order to play the beta version. PlayStation 4 owners, on the other hand, is not required to provide a code for the second week of beta testing.

Based on the report, the initial release of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta will feature the first weekend's offering such as Kill Confirmed and Gun Game modes, the four previously released maps and more. This week of beta testing will be expected to bring numerous additional game modes and maps for the players to try out.

In addition, it seems like the beta testing of Infinity Ward's Infinite Warfare was necessary since several issues are already discovered during the span of its testing. Some known issues are long waiting time for matchmaking and the inability to play the game due to server issues that plagued the game on Day One. The studio also added that this beta testing will help them prepare for the game's official release early next month.

For Xbox owners, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Beta is available through the Microsoft Store while PlayStation 4 owners will be able to download the game on the PlayStation Store. On the other hand, PC owners will just have to wait for the game's full release since the company did not include a PC version of the beta.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare will be available on Nov. 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
