GTA 6 Release Date Details, Production Cost, And More

Rockstar has just announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming soon, to the delight of many fans and along with that announcement, hopes are up that GTA 6 will be released as well.

Although there has been no announcements or even a single hint from Rockstar about the release date, even more the status, for the sixth installment of GTA, rumor mills are already busy with their own speculations. The most prevalent is that the game will most probably be released in 2020.

This prediction came based on how the two games were previously released. It can be remembered that Red Dead Redemption was released in 2010 followed by GTA in 2013. Given the fact that Rockstar seems to follow a certain process of releasing its games after every six years. After six years, it has finally released the sequel for its western shooter so most probably GTA 6 will follow.

Aside from that, there are also some news going around that it will take a lot of money, specifically a total of $265 million, to put the GTA 6 production in full force. There is also a possibility that the cost might balloon if Rockstar decides to integrate more features, such as virtual reality, into the game. If it will really happen, GTA 6 has the possibility to be a money machine for Rockstar.

Aside from the said feature, many GTA fans are expecting the next sequel to have new characyers, new and bigger maps, and a new storyline, all of which will take a lot of time and effort for the game developer. If they really want to have all these new features in the game, they will have to work harder and look further for new ideas.

With all these speculations and rumor, there hasn't been any word from Rockstar; thus, fans of the game will just have to be patient and be content with GTA 5 for the meantime. There's also GTA online to consider if GTA 5 proves to be boring.
