How Lando's Character Was Formed
Lucasfilm, the producer of the "Star Wars" Han Solo movie, said that the Glover will portray Lando in his "formative years." He was a young underworld scoundrel in the galaxy. "We're so lucky to have an artist as talented as Donald join us," said Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the directors of "The Lego Movies."
The two were tasked to direct the "Star Wars" Han Solo movie. "These are big shoes to fill, and an even bigger cape, and this one fits him perfectly, which will save us money on alterations. Also, we'd like to publicly apologize to Donald for ruining Comic-Con for him forever," the two added.

Donald Glover will have a lot on his plate right now. Aside from the work that he will now do with the sstand-aloneHan Solo movie, he also stars in two TV series, "Atlanta" and "Community." In the movie, he will co-star with Alden Ehrenreich, who will play the young Han Solo. The movie is set at a time that was "previously unexplored" in the "Star Wars" space saga.
