Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Guide: How To Unlock The Assassin Hit

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has landed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Many are now enjoying the game as I write this article, trying out the different characters. However, one character, in particular, cannot be played outright. Gamers will need to unlock Hit from the "Dragon Ball Super" anime first before they can use him.

How To Unlock Hit In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Bandai Namco has actually already told players how to unlock the assassin Hit in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. "You can get Hit by making a wish with the Dragon Balls ;) Good luck!" the developer said via Twitter. This is actually true and not just a confusing joke.

In order to make a wish, you have to collect all the seven dragon balls in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. There are actually several wishes you can make once you do and one of them is, "I want more useable Characters," which would then unlock one character. This way, you'll be able to get Hit and play the character from then on.

Playing as the assassin Hit in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will allow you access to a recreation of his Time-Skip ability. It will stop time for a tenth of a second, during which the character can move freely. According to Forbes, it is actually more on being cool-looking than functional.

How To Get All Seven Dragon Balls In Xenoverse 2 Fast

To get the Xenoverse 2 dragon balls, you must play the parallel quests. Reports say that quest # 4 is the easiest, but you need to play multiple quests. In this guide by Twinfinite, you need to at least be at level 35. If you follow the guide, you can get all seven dragon balls in about an hour or so.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 parallel quest 4 will take you to a fight with Krillin, Yamcha and Tien. After defeating them, a gate will be activated, which you must not absolutely enter. Wait for a while until three Time Patrol Agents appear next to the building. Fight them.

You will take on each Agent in separate fights. You will defeat them one by one and after each fight, pay attention to the bottom of the screen for the reward pop-up. If it says Key Item, that means you got a dragon ball. You would want one of the three to drop the legendary item, so keep fighting. If you did not get one, pause the game and click Retry.

When you do get one, repeat Parallel Quest 4 until you get a hold of all seven dragon balls. Then comes Summoning Time. Go to Conton City and to the center of the map, where you'll find the Pedestal. This is where you can summon Shenron who will grant one wish.

Once you have made your wish, which is "I want more useable Characters" for Hit, the dragon balls will appear. Repeat the process if you want to make another wish.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is now available for the gaming consoles. A PC version is coming on Friday, Oct. 28.
