With this, Samsung is aiming to recapture much of the prestige that was lost due to the Note 7 fiasco.

For a processor, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge are reported to feature Qualcomm's yet-to-be-unveiled Snapdragon 830 or an Exynos 8895, depending on the market. Considering the Snapdragon 830 isn't expected to be announced until 2017, it's hard to say whether we're giving any credit to that notion, but things do look promising for fans of 10nm FinFET technology, according to Droid Life.

Reports also claim The Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to feature an Iris scanner that would make use of the user's eyes instead of the fingerprint. It will be faster and more secure than current security measures.

Reported from Know Your Mobile, the Galaxy series has seen a serious improvement in camera quality over the past few years, and we even rated the Galaxy S7's camera as better than the camera on the iPhone 6s in some respects. According to recent reports, however, Samsung will go a step further for the Galaxy S8.

According to a tip from Chinese social media site Weibo, the Galaxy S8 will feature a dual 12MP + 13MP rear-facing camera, a move that will likely put the camera in line with the upcoming iPhone 7, which is also expected to have a dual camera, at least for one version.

You'll need that much time too because the Samsung Galaxy S8 isn't going to come cheap. Of course, Samsung has yet to confirm this, but just look at its latest efforts and your wallet will get stressed and everything at just the thought of what's to come.
