Survivor Series 2016: Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar, 12 Years Wait Is Almost Over

After years of speculations, the two titans are about to go at it again. The Beast Incarnate vs Man. The Immovable Force vs Unstoppable Object. This is one match you wouldn't dare miss.

Wrestlemania XX was the last time when these two behemoth monsters faced each other. Their match ended poorly and that's why fans are craving for a rematch. The match and the storyline was actually created perfectly. The two exchanged jabs and insults to each other and Brock Lesnar made his first move when he interrupted Goldberg in the Royal Rumble Match.

Then after, Goldberg retaliated in in No Way Out helping Eddie Guererro defeat Brock Lesnar to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The two then clashed on the grandest stage of them all but never lived up the expectations and hype that was created for how many months.

The WWE Ring: Where Everything Started

During the launched of WWE 2K17, the two superstars and Paul Heyman again traded jab to each other. Then last October 10 2016, Paul Heyman formally challenged Goldberg to a match on behalf of The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. Goldberg then answered the challenge and after 12 years, he was again in the WWE Ring.

The crowd went ruckus as they saw one of the most decorated and dominating superstar back in WWE. Goldberg marched his way to the ring with his signature theme and his powerful entrance. Goldberg was visibly emotional and bursting with gratitude when he saw the feedback of the WWE Universe.

Lesnar Was Crowd Favorite; Vince Was Pissed Off

The week after it was Brock Lesnar's turn to answer Goldberg's allegations about him not man enough to asked him personally about their match. WWE was at Brock Lesnar's hometown a.k.a Suplex City. The crowd favored Lesnar as he is one of their own but at the same time, Vince McMahon was pissed with the crowds reaction.

WWE creative is trying to develop and make a storyline about Brock Lesnar being the heel and Goldberg being the face in the match. However, they are having a hard time since Lesnar is another entity like no other. He is an attraction and a he sells tickets like hotcake. We are only 3 weeks away from the coveted dream match and we are honored to see these two first ballot hall of fame superstars go at it once again.
