Hell In A Cell is already finished and fans are already excited to watch one of the best Pay-Per-View in WWE History - "The Survivor Series."

History

Survivor Series is a pay-per-view where superstars are tested through camaraderie, teamwork and oneness. The annual Survivor Series started way back in 1987  with the Immortal Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant kickstarting the show.

The pay-per-view also showcased a team battle themed match. It was the first time in Wrestling history that they were able impose it and they received positive feedback from the Wrestling fans. Then, 29 years later, the pay-per-view is still alive.

Smackdown Live vs Monday Night Raw

Both brands, Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live will again battle for bragging rights. They have to compose a five man team that will lead them to victory. Right now as per ratings, Smackdown Live is destroying Monday Night Raw. Sure they lost a couple of weeks or two but by checking the totality since the brand split, Smackdown Live is the brand to beat.

So without a further adieu, here are the current updated matches for Survivor Series 2016:

Main Event Match - The Beast Incarnate

The main event match will be The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar vs The Man, Goldberg. This match is long overdue and we are not sure if they are still capable of making a five-star match. Their first match however was not considered great as well due to some personal issues that affected their performances on the ring.

Traditional Team Battle For Brand Supremacy

Last night on Monday Night Raw, Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley already announced their team captains. They are WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. Joining Team Raw is Roman Reigns which makes the team more complicated. Braun Strowman won the Battle Royal later that night earning him a spot on the traditional survivor series match.

The General Manager of Smackdown Daniel Bryan just announced his 5-man team and they are consisted of: The WWE World Champion AJ Styles, The Viper Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose and Baron Corbin. The 10-on-10 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team match is spearheaded by Team Smackdown's Heath Slater And Rhyno, Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley, The Usos, and The American Alpha. The blue brand is still missing one more team which is to be discussed next week.

"Raw" Qualifying Matches

For Team Monday Night Raw the Tag Team Champions and The New Day will lead the red brand and it is not clear yet on who will join the trio. The Club, Cass and Enzo Amore are just two teams that The Raw brand can use. These three teams despise each other and it would be fun to watch if they will develop any chemistry together.

Also, the Raw Women's team will be led by Charlotte, Bayley and Nia Jax. Raw is still in the process of creating qualifying match to add two more participant in this years traditional survivor series match up. Smackdown is complete already with Becky Lynch as their leader, followed by Nikki Bella, Alexa Bliss, Carmela and Naomi.
